I’ve had a little extra time on my hands lately and I’m trying to get back into some creative writing. What do you think about this: a fan fiction series about a bunch of Tumblrs who spend their days sharing factoids and brain farts and writing other fan fiction. Has anyone gone meta fanfic before? Or meta-meta-fanfic? I feel like this would be a pretty big hit in most corners of the internet, but especially Tumblr, because, let’s face it, if there’s one thing Tumblr loves it’s weird, derivative writing and also everything else in the world.
I mean that in the best way possible, of course. Tumblr is a magical, egalitarian place where anyone can publish anything for the masses to enjoy and swim around in. The result is some absolute gems, like these random bits of goodness.
