How often do we find ourselves saying “Psh. I don’t need to pay someone for this. I’ll do it myself. How hard can it be?”
And yes, sometimes, especially if you’re willing to put in the time, you can totally make it work. But there’s still something to be said for watching a true professional in their field. Take makeup, for instance. It’s a perfectly common part of the lives of so many, but it’s still incredible what a difference in effect it can have in the hands of an expert.
