Addiction is a beast of a problem. Anyone who’s struggled with it or had a family member who has done so knows that it can eat your life up.
And what’s worse is that, contrary to what we believed for so long, there’s very little choice involved. Chemicals rewire our brains such that we can become dependent on poison like we depend on breathing. And what do you do when you can’t get past that?
