People Reveal What it’s Like to Just Keep Getting Engaged

You ever heard the term “always a bridesmaid, never a bride?”

It’s a sort of self-pitying lament that though you’re always close to love, you never quite find it yourself.

However, I think in terms of real gut punch it would pale in comparison to something like “always engaged, never married.” That one doesn’t quite have the wordplay of the more conventional idiom, but imagine how frustrating it would actually be to keep living that.

Well, these people don’t have to imagine. Here are ten anonymous confessions from people who are, for one reason or another, just perpetually pre-married.
